Happy Memorial Day!

Happy Memorial Day! Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend and remembering the reason for this holiday.

The beginning of this weekend started out raining. That gave me an opportunity to catch up on a scrappy wall art project I have been working on for quite some time now.

I had been looking for just the right pictures for my kitchen wall and finally gave up to making my own.

Here is the finished project.
Sorry for the angle, but it's hard to get pictures without all the reflection on the glass.

These prints finished up at 10" x 20" each. once framed.

The files were freebies from SVG Cutting Files many months ago. I mixed and matched other svg files to create the different flowers and birds on each.
For the flowers in this picture I used shamrock balloon shape from the SVG Cutting Files Chibi Shamrock Ballon Girl.

I used the Jaded Blossom Spring Dies 2 to make the clouds for all the prints.

The sunflowers in this print are from the SVG Cutting Files Sunflower Cindy File.

Hope you enjoyed seeing my finished wall art.

Dancing in the rain!

Happy Friday!
Today is my design day over at SVG Cutting Files  and I have a fun little card to share with you. It features a new file released in the store today.

I have seen and heard so much about the watercolor backgrounds and was inspired by fellow DT member, Lee-Ann to try color burst inks.

Oh my goodness, they are addicting!
I love how this turned out for the base of my card today.
Just sprinkle a few grains of the color burst ink on the paper, spritz with water and watch the magic happen!

I added a few sequins for extra puddle splashes.

Here's what I used on my card today...

Zip into Adventure!

Hey there Everyone!  There is a new challenge at SVG Cutting Files, this month we have a "Summer Lovin'" theme.  Just remember, the project must include something from SVG Cutting Files. Projects should be linked on the blog or Facebook Galleria Group by June 14. As always, there is a great prize up for grabs.

I I recently was in New Zealand and one of my favorite things to do anywhere I travel to is to zip trek. It's great to zip through the trees or mountains in the Fresh summer air.

So I decided to try a penny slider card. Yes, I have never made one before. There are plenty of videos online showing how to make it.

You can find the base card in the SVG Cutting files store already to go with the slot for the penny to slide in. You just need a couple pennies!

For my card I used one of the bases and added some fun outdoor papers.

I then attached by zip guy to the pennies and now he slides back and forth on the card.

The base of the card is a basic box card. I then used parts from the Flower Box Girl file to make the different layers. Lots and Lots of flowers!

Here's a list of what I used on today's project......

Bo Bunny Camp a lot paper.
